Hey /sci/, a maths question for you:

If I have five dice with 500 faces (1-500), and I roll them together and record the highest number over and over, what would the average result be, and how would the results be distributed?

I dunno why I started thinking about this cause I'm not a maths geek but I can't solve it and its bugging me.
