I'm a third year E.Eng student, wasnt able to find a co-op or anything so now I have next semester off.
Is there anything (such as an electronics project) I can work on in my own time thatd be worth putting on a resume as experience? There are no volunteering opportunities where I live either.

Failing that, even anything that's interesting that is doable at home without spending alot of money?

>3rd year electrical engineering undergrad
>no prior internship in field
>decide to enter school's co-op program on the last day
>finish application essays literally 20 minutes before the deadline
>1_month _later.jpg
>have 11 interviews in one week
>kill all of them
>get 3 semesters of work at my top choice of company

why is engineering so based?
