Okay /sci/ I have a question for the computer literate people in here. So my university frowns on having a wireless router, I used it just so I could sit in my bed in my dorm room on the computer, but they are making it fucking difficult.

It has worked for a year and a half but finally they caught on, they detected the NAT capability of the router and quarantined my access so I have to plug it in directly, changing the MAC address the router "displays" didn't help, and I don't understand NAT.

Is it a capability I can turn off in some way? Is it possible to trick a network into not knowing that the router was a NAT device? Please help me fight the system, thank you.
