Where are all those shills who said the Emdrive wasn't real? Funny how they've all gone silent now.

We should be learning to develop the principle of the emdrive thruster.

Basically it involves sending electromagnetic waves through empty space and then using electric currents within these travelling fields to achieve thrust by Ampere's force law. One should be able to do this with two coils in close proximity and some very fast switching, The overall effect is that of pushing back against spacetime itself.

It was cutting-age military tech a century ago, and 50 years back it was still good enough to send us to the moon. However it was a very inefficient method, often requiring as much fuel as payload just to get into orbit. Luckily science has since moved on.

Can someone tell me the status of the EM Drive testing? I know it is controversial but the NASA Space Flight Forums aren't interesting anymore, kind of died since larger companies/countries got more serious about testing.

What are your thoughts on it?

Is it for real

How many times are labs gonna report "equipment failure" before we except its for real?

>put EM drive in space
>attach to top of stick
>put other end of stick on to generator
>turn on EM drive
>no more power problems

I haven't heard anything lately at all.

this fucking copper cone singhandedly proved that scientists are fucking polarized sheep that can't into unbiased review. jesus christ how pathetic can you be to blindly say it either breaks physics, or that the data is wrong? this is a key opportunity for science to shine but instead we get nothing but shitposts and memes. i hope all you shitters die for not taking this from a logical, empirical standpoint and looked at the data with a proper conclusion that didn't perversely adhere to the popular belief of whatever camp you're from. i can't talk about this seriously with anyone anymore. modern science discussion is on the same level as municipal politics.
