This was the best board I could think of posting. So I just graduated and started working. All of my boomer parents, co workers and so forth all say the same shit to me. They say that now the hard work begins. That you should of enjoyed the freedom of school and the fun of it, cus now that's all gone. Just in general that school > work. Is it just me or are they stupid? I fucking hated school compared to work. Go to college for 6 hours, come back home to study and/or work a 4 to 6 hour shift at a minimum wage job. Rinse and repeat daily. With work, I go in for 8 hours and go home and do whatever the fuck I want without the stress of any papers, exams etc. I never though of college as the "fun time" in my life, it was stress about the grades, about tuition, eating ramen because of money. Now I work, i have excess income can go buy almost whatever I want.

Does it all depend on the degree that you go for? So I wanna ask to.
Whats your age, degree, and what is better time off your life, work or college? I'm 26, bachelors of science, master of physician assistant. And fuck college I wouldn't put it on my enemies.

Every time someone says do you miss college, I just laugh.
