Unfortunately and ironically it has become transparent that all who would survive the coming future need do to attain their technological heaven is kill/detain all pseudo philosophers who push morals and ethics that impede the scientific progress of those far more capable. What we are experiencing is a divergence in the human psyche: one side believes the ends justify the means, and the other clings to a dogmatic sense of morality that increasingly suffocates its every step forward in a swamp of bureaucracy. Advancement requires sacrifice. There is no way around this. While morality and ethics have their place, you've overburdened yourselves to the point of blind zealotry. Your loved ones will continue to die from diseases that could have been cured decades ago, while those willing to get their hands dirty will find miraculous ways to cure them, and then you will come begging to partake and share in such, pretending you're still innocent and pure. You're revolting, but there is still time to join the winning team. You'd better hurry.

Having a foreskin, knowing what it provides, and knowing there are people, right now, who are taking that experience away from their children, is very irritating.

It's incredibly twisted to gamble with someone's sexuality and capacity for sensual and intimate connection with another human being. Then to expect someone to perform regardless of how it turns out, and act like anyone actually cares about sensitivity or how good anything feels. If we did, we wouldn't even be entertaining the notion.

It's an asinine fucked up mess.

No, it needs less compartmentalization. The absence of philosophy is the core problem. People don't abstract to the most general case and create a broad framework where it;s clear how elements of very different topics relate in the greater whole, until it is much, much too late. If at all.

This is what you get when you bash people over the head with rote memorization and studying for tests, for years on end. Myopia and a hyperfixation of specifics to the point where they're ironically useless.

I gotta find a picture to post because I'm just so damn disgusted. I'd be great at education personally, which is frustrating because I have no desire to do it, nor will I likely ever develop one.

Could you guys help explaining the concept of a derivative to me?

I keep trying to look up youtube videos but all they go over is the definition of a derivative and then power and chain rules that sort of thing.

I'm not nessesarilly asking for the whole secant to tangent line limit to 0 kind of thing, I guess something intuitive, something I can kind of visualize throughout the operation more logical of an explanation pls.

I found this great Khan Academy video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtvikVD9aa0

and I think the module is great and kind of getting at what I'm thinking about and the understanding I'm seeking....yet it doesn't seem...complete?

Tl dr: tell me everything you know about derivatives and how they relate to ANYTHING else.

the meaning of life:

you are a point of view. you are not a set of particles but rather the entire universe (every point of view is like its own universe and particles are just singularities). nothingness is also a point of view. experience is like a language in that godel's incompleteness theorem applies to it. time is basically the result of writing "this sentence is false" in this language (or if you're an engineer, feeding a NOT gate's output into its input). each point of view (including nothingness) requires other points of view to get around godel's incompleteness theorem (to hold their hidden variables to not contradict itself). "qualia" is another way of saying "the laws of physics" so if they change the laws of physics change. your point of view and its qualia are basically random and it's strongly implied that this isn't your first roll. there is no god or free will. if you define free will as requiring nondeterminism you are just saying dice have free will.

tl;dr: something exists instead of nothing because even "nothingness" would still require a viewer to not contradict itself and beyond that when alice asks "why am i alice and not bob?" the answer is randomness.
