>I have no family support and don't speak to either of my parents. Community college is a struggle to pay for.
>I have always loved school as my home away from home, and science is natural for me as well as fascinating.
>My dream job is to be a professor. My best friends have always been my teachers, and I want to pass that on to others.
>I don't think I'm good enough for university.
>I can't afford university.
>Grad school is even more unaffordable.
>What if I flunk out of grad school?
>what if I fail at research, and never get hired as a professor?
>Thus, dream job is a dream.
>I am currently studying nursing.
>I find diseases repulsive.
>I have been told I "have potential" but I think they were just trying to be nice.

Don't know what to do. I just want to be in school forever (but I don't necessarily want to be a student forever). Have any of you ever attained your dream, as impossible as it felt?
