With these ridiculous heatwaves all across the planet, I really gotta ask, is there even a theoretical basis for curbing if not reversing climate change?

There are lots of differential equations which are "unsolvable". I'm interested in knowing whether "unsolvable" means they can't be solved or that we don't know how. Is there some mathematical proof that says they can't be solved except numerically?

Isn't it the same as an ice cube melting in a glass of water? The melted ice cube would equal the displacement created by the solid ice cube?
