What is the worst meme in Physics?
String theory always sounds like some new age, Haramein-tier fabrication.

I will appreciate any explanation about why I am wrong (or right)

What are some good short science or math reference books to read? I'm not talking hardcore studying material, I'm talking interesting and worth reading because you will learn - something you could take out at the bus stop for 3 minutes and potentially take something valuable away from that much reading. Not something you have to sit down and take notes with

Any good ~100 page books for math or physics?

Does /sci/ know anything about Mirror Symmetry?

I understand the algebraic geometry side of it, but don't know anything about morse theory and thus the symplectic geometry side if confusing me.
