Hey I care about the people that's why walking ignorantly into perpetual CO2 taxation schemes, be it direct pilfering of the wallets or complex cap and trade schemes, is not a solution to anything except enriching mostly corrupt politicians and large corporations that will lobby hard behind closed doors to be exempt. I suppose a small sect of climate "scientists" put food on the table but the science is questionable and appears to be heavily biased. Despite repeated failures of the models there is not a single peep allowed in the mainstream questioning anything which is why Trump is quite refreshing in that respect.

What I would like to see more of is honesty from politicians and big energy alike. Big energy has been considering alternatives for some time but not because of scary computer models indicating catastrophic climate change, but because of something real world, depletion of reserves and easy cheap energy sources. The obfuscation is what irritates me, stop treating large populations of people like idiots and they might stop acting like idiots. Herd instinct is a scary thing and all the misinformation has created so far is in fact a horde of misinformed ignorant climate zealots who may bring everyone down a very dark path with them.
