So in my studies I've come to the conclusion that FTL will one day be achieved by a kind of flash freezing of an object then linking it to a black hole that it leaves behind; these instruments will allow for un-paralleled observation of inanimate life in still form at which point we will be able to determine the fail safes needed to travel with as mentioned through an 'edge' (that of course being in any bloody place) of existance through the glory of the nucleus of a star

>penny for your thoughts on this

So the ego, is it an origin premise or a byproduct of self preservation; one could argue both, any appearing byproduct of an emerging structure would consider a case of the ego being something that could quantify an ability of perseverance to maintain itself. By extension we can consider such an ability to be two fold: A, maintaining a stable interface; and B: that the interface may adapt to its surroundings. So this being the case we can assume that the ego is something that is three dimensional and capable of restraining its surroundings for the point of allowing its most basic structure to flourish or conform. Now that such an ability would not only be absurd, but not extreme, referencing now the case of Newtons contents of that every action has an equal or opposite reaction being disproven; or more simply: you can do something and nothing will happen, but back to the point that what's been mentioned can be considered very extreme in classical mechanics! But! If we can consider for a second that the ego is something singular but, brought to a point considerably nearer to infinite than one would imagine, folded, looped, and traced that much and then some could it not be argued that everything, hard and soft, old and new, has an sense of self entitling itself to a presence?

If sound waves are capable of doing this, couldn't there be some truth behind the idea that a god created everything with "The Word"? Or that people who practice ceremonial magic can substantially alter reality with their incantations?

What say you?

A team of UC Berkeley physicists and statisticians that set out to challenge the scientific consensus on global warming is finding that its data-crunching effort is producing results nearly identical to those underlying the prevailing view.

The Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature project was launched by physics professor Richard Muller, a longtime critic of government-led climate studies, to address what he called "the legitimate concerns" of skeptics who believe that global warming is exaggerated.

But Muller unexpectedly told a congressional hearing last week that the work of the three principal groups that have analyzed the temperature trends underlying climate science is "excellent.... We see a global warming trend that is very similar to that previously reported by the other groups."
