It is true that by shining a U.V light on to zinc metal you will emit electrons, which is beta radiation.
So in a hypothetical situation where you worked behind the bar (which was coated in zinc or another such metal) in a nightclub that used ultra-violet lighting. The you developed Cancer, would you have justification to sue them for giving you cancer due to radiation?
