I really like popular science and when I say that I don't mean the big bang theory I mean somewhat comprehensive explanations of scientific phenomena without going into the actual equations, calculations and gritty details. I do try to learn the math and equations but I like watching pop-science when I feel like relaxing.

But one thing I hate is that the people who talk about it are usually horribly inaccurate or simply don't know what the fuck they're talking about. Also many times I watch popular science videos there people always imply that their unproven hypothesis is factual.

This is an example of what I am talking about.

Everything after the fourth dimension is hypothetical and he gets temporal and spatial dimensions confused. He also forgot to say that we arbitrarily call time a fourth dimension which again, can easily confuse the layman.
The least retarded pop-sci thing I've read/watched was micho kaku's hyperspace and even that had a few problems.

Why are pop-scientists like this?

I seriously considering suicide.

I don't have academic or social success and have had numerous traumatic experiences in my lifetime. All I have is what most people would consider above average intelligence which is almost useless since I have no academic sucess.

Before I kill myself are there any reasons I should not do it? (Condescending posts without substance will be ignored.)
