Hey fegs. I've got tummy issues/pains every time I "flare up" on some food, and a skin issue going with it.

Went to my doc yesterday and he instantly said; allergy. He prescribed me cetrizine for a week, and offered me a lactoce intolerance/allergy test(not sure which one he said specifically, I know there's a difference).

Anyways; I've had had multiple blood tests done, sent in my shit, did a swab test to see if I had harmful bacteria/fungi, had a patch test, and every single time, the results were negative.

Mind you, my diet isn't composed of shit, and I take zinc/d3. Watch my food like a hawk. How reliable are allergy tests? How reliable would a colonoscopy be, when I send in some of my gut tissue to a lab(this worked for a friend).

Ok, I have had a condition for years, where my lips develop a white layer of skin on top of my bottom lip, and then it peels(Looks like exfoliative cheilitis).

Another thing I've had, and it's gotten worse, is pain when I press my stomach(when it flares up and I've eaten something wrong). Had gas and gut issues for years(sometimes get the shits).

Now my little brother is developing the exact same symptoms. I went to multiple doctors, but all the blood taking, sent in my shit, and where I ended up was; something is wrong when we looked at your shit.

But after that my doc did a 3 month vacation and I moved during that time.

What do? Should I do a colonoscopy? How do I reliably find out if I have food allergies/intolerances(patch test found nothing)? This shit is fucking my life. And now my lil' brother's getting it.

So in the end, 4 starve to death; find no job at all.

Vegetable oils, pesticides, whole grain products, hard to digest foods in general.

I've always suspected our fucked up diet is one of the leading factors of the increase in chronic disease. Wish more doctors would research into that, but the lone man doesn't have big pharma's "influence".
