Hey guys, can you name a few rxn's which have steam, and very little/few other substances as the products? Exothermic is a must, large Keq value prefered.

Alright, /sci/, we discuss (emperically, and scientifically) the beginnings of religion.
I think it was a science, a methodical tool used to describe, and attempt to explain the unexplainable. The problem formed when people refused to move on to more modern and realistic conclusions. When science got WAY past 'magic man' did it, we realized, well, GOD didn't create people, evolution did, and god didn't create the earth, star dust did.
Anyways, christians WAAAY better, theres no need to fear hell anymore. What I DON'T get, is why religious people started to try and explain things that didn't need explaining. Like, sure, where did we come from? "Adam, Eve, blah blah blah" makes sense, they are attempting to answer a question. But like, what kind of question does the existance of angels and hell and all that stuff explain?

tl;dr, religion was a science, but it got out of hand, and stopped making logical sense, even when better, more logical conclusions were presented to us. This likely happened due to people's insecurities. When the old conclusions of science became so outdated that they made NO logical sense anymore, people felt no need to stick to reason anymore (like when you're in a clean space (logical) you don't litter, but when you're in a fucking scummy ass street packed with litter, you feel no worries about littering /psych)
And their stories just got way out of hand.

Who feels this is an accurate description of religion?
