Hello /sci/,

I'm writing a Science Fiction story in which the Mafia uses a laser-launched capsule for Earth-to-Space smuggling.

In order to power the blasted thing, they jerry-rig several MHD generators using old rocket boosters, and in order to move the story forward, one of their operatives needs to be caught trying to obtain liquid oxygen/RP-1/whatever else is used in chemical rockets.

Any suggestions?
