Yes, when the last ice age ended around 10,000 years ago the people living in the area that is now the Persian Gulf, were flooded.
That is the same area the Bible speaks of where the Tigris and Eurphrates and two other now dry rivers met, which would be underwater now in the Gulf.

So there is a historical significance to the Flood Story, but the entire world was obviously NOT flooded, just thousands of square miles in the exact area where civilization first began, so it just seemed like the "entire world" was flooded to them back then.

Ask China. They have murdered millions of dissidents such as Uighurs, religious groups, muslims, etc. in just the last few years. MANY more than the entire German Holocaust killed. A large portion of those murdered were killed via live organ harvesting.
