computer science is just as rigorous as any other scientific field. i won't sit idly and let you people insult the legacy of turing, church, von neumann and other greats who have contributed an extreme amount of intellectual wealth and uplifted the human condition.

yes the undergraduate level is in a sorry state but that's true of a lot of fields and represents the decline of academia as a whole rather than any issue specific to computer science itself

well this is more targeted at britfags but americans can also give their advice too.

Im in sixth form college and about to start an epq project which will contain about 5000 words.
I need a topic/question which has to be specific and answerable. My area of expertise is around space, politics. The question cannot be just a simple google search and answered just like that, or involving the future as we dont know what will happen. Got any topics/questions for me? thanks.

ps i know im asking for a very specific thing but any feedback would be useful
