Can you be immortal if you just clone yourself?

Because your body changes all the time anyways. You are not the same person you were 5 minutes ago.

If you cloned yourself, but your original self died. Could you still be considered alive?

Investopedia explains 'Risk-Return Tradeoff'
Because of the risk-return tradeoff, you must be aware of your personal risk tolerance when choosing investments for your portfolio. Taking on some risk is the price of achieving returns; therefore, if you want to make money, you can't cut out all risk. The goal instead is to find an appropriate balance - one that generates some profit, but still allows you to sleep at night.

Is there an easy way to solve a system like this;

sin(A) - sin(B) = .1663;
cos(A) - cos(B) = .0323;

Is there an identity I could use?

Objectively speaking, why do you post here? The only things that this would be best for compared to a board are trolls, homework threads, and repetitive threads, the very things this board is supposedly against.

The reason I do is because I want a fast response, but if we all agree to move to the same forum then we can get our fast responses in a archived and accountable environment.

So what forum(s) would you suggest?

I've got seven months before entering University and I want subjects to study.

All precalculus topics (geometry, trig, algebra) already done, as is both sections of AP Physics C (classical mechanics and electromagnetism). I'm already a computer programmer, a relative novice but I'm getting two hours of practice each day and slowly but surely improving.

So - /sci/entists, tell me what you think are the subjects most deserving of attention. (Mentioned topics are out)

is anywhere i could learn maths with other students or a instructor live over the internet or something that can help me self-study? i am doing horrible and the only thing i'm doing is just mechanical math problem solving such as factoring.

also park your fucking elitism because i could kick your ass in real life if you try to act all superior to me just because you have different brains then me.

! Most igneous activity is related to processes
operating at active plate boundaries
! Most magmas originate at 50 to 200 km depth

Peridotite in the upper Mantle
! Granite magma is generated from partial melting of
rocks in the lower crust

Consider a complex function R with derivative R'.

Is there another way to write out Im(R'/R) in terms of R' or R so that I can take derivatives with respect to R?

How long can sperm survive outside the body to make someone pregnant?

I keep hearing that sperm can live for 3 days outside the body which has made me really paranoid about making people pregnant accidently. So does that mean if theres sperm thats 2 days old and a woman manages to get it on her hands and fingers herself, she can become pregnant?

pic not related couldnt find better pic

Any Modelsim pros on?

I'm trying to simulate a simple state machine and I have no idea how to go about doing this.

Basically I have to write an entity that acts as the test bench? I'm not quite sure.

Anyone hit me with some insight?>

review how you use any logical reasoning tools on a daily basis. What tools do you use, and do you note any logical fallacies in your daily routines?

IF causality, a fundamental element of sane reality was legit, existence could not come out non-existence.
Logically:
a) time is eternal
or b) reality proceeds either randomly or as externally scripted outside of the universe
c) there is a flaw in my logic...

ok so

was looking up at the night sky just now. noticed how stuff like trees are clearly silhouetted as black against space, which was a lighter blue (in the gaps between stars)

the moon isn't up, so what is this? i live in a village, so it could be low levels of light pollution; is the night sky in non-polluted areas totally black? is it residual sunlight being reflected off the atmosphere; it's around three hours past sundown.

pic not very related, does not suit a hat either.

How important is GPA for Engineering majors. I've had a 4.0 for my first and second years in EE. However, I've just started my 3rd year which happened to coincide with my first Accutane treatment. I'm really concerned that this stuff may mess with my head and make me not perform as well academically. However I don't seem to have a choice, I don't see why anyone would hire someone who is plagued by constant acne.

Any advice? I'm just kinda venting :(

So I am trying to isolate delta time from this formula:

Delta Displacement = Velocity Initial x Delta Time + 0.5 x acceleration x Delta Time squared.

If you could explain step by step that would help a lot.

Thanks in advance.
