Hey, /sci/,

I need your help with an American science political question. My question is this: What are the various types of interest groups? More specifically, how would you characterize the power of labor unions compared to corporations?

"How would you characterize the power of labor unions compared to corporations? Labor unions often work like a corporation does, except for one small difference: these unions work for the people as their chief promoting product. In having said that, labor unions often hold meetings, do negotiations with corporations for better salaries, and sometimes even have lobbyist to better promote the common worker's needs."

I honestly don't know what to say... A labor union watches out for itself and its own. While a corporation is interested in helping its profits out... This is the only thing I am struggling to comprehend because it just seems like a labor union and a corporation are totally at the opposite sides of the spectrum poll.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Admit it; you're just mad because you've legitimately been disproved.
