What does /sci/ think of this guy as a scientist and a person?

Have we already gotten to the point where there is so much to know, that someone of normal intelligence, even if they are learning everyday from birth till death, cannot be expected to grasp it all.

By 'it' I am referring to a specific scientific discipline. For example, maths, chemistry, computer science... etc.

Supposedly Poincare, pic related, was a the last universalist. As in, he knew everything there was to know about Maths at the time.

Henri Poincare apparently flunked an IQ test and scored below a 100 on it.

Does that mean everyone in MENSA is more intelligent than Poincare? If so, why haven't any of them created a new field of mathematics, or greatly progressed an existing field of mathematics yet?
