does anyone know how to calculate the solubility parameters of a polymer without knowing the heat of vaporization? I found one equation that uses attractive forces instead, but i think its giving me something different than what i should be getting

pic kinda related

Hey /sci/. My friends think that "Schrödinger's cat" is a way of making something both dead and alive. I said it's just a thought experiment. We don't know if the cat is dead or alive so it's treated as both dead and alive until we look.

Now I don't know if I got that right, but I'm more right than my friends are, right? Please correct me, I haven't really studied this.

So I'm working on a paper for my Calc II course and on the instruction sheet, the prof for some godawful reason doesn't want us to use Leibniz (Master Race) Notation for derivatives. Seeing as how I've never bothered to look up the appropriate LaTeX code for f'(x), f''(x), etc, what does /sci/ use for this? just ' or ` or is there something special like \prime or \2prime or \3prime?

Pic unrelated but awesome.
