I want to tell you this again, /sci/. It's logically impossible to feel pleasure from any action, such as sex or eating food. You would feel neutral from those. You can only actually feel happy when everything in the universe is working smoothly. Sometimes this seems like an illusion when you are happy but it is not true.

When you are happy it means you have actually found the meaning to life. I don't even enjoy communicating this as it defeats the spiritual purpose of simply using energy to express your emotions.

I'm confident I could take methamphetamine and not feel happy, only love can make you happy. For instance, when I was tripping on psychedelic drugs, and saw visions of death, the feeling of love completely halted my hallucinations. During these "death" moments I could not communicate or read text on my computer, the feeling of love gave me complete clarity though and I was able to read text perfectly and communicate when I felt love. How do you explain that as anything other than miracle?

Hey /sci/ im looking for math and physics books that are readable and touch on the history of the subject but don't skimp on the mathematical content. Any suggestions?

Is there any theory in science that allows us to access information in the future via the internet?

Like using google or something to search future states of the internet

>I'm a materialist, everything is matter!!
>Ok sir, But what is matter?
>it's particles and energy duh!!!
>and What are those?

>well it depends how you interpret waves and quantum conscious super position isotopic space-time fabric wave collapse geometry
>and What is that?

>we don't have a unified theory yet, we don't really know what matter is..but we're worki...

Thank you I've heard enough.

Is it possible for a human to significantly increase their physical and psychological pain tolerance? Is it true that spies get trained to resist torture, how does that work?

Can one be trained to resist all pain, suffering, fear, anxiety, etc?

If I have an IQ of 126 am I smart enough to major in physics? I'm particularly interested in quantum mechanics, I'm mostly worried about looking slow compared to my peers and not grasping the work

Why is the observable Universe composed almost entirely of ordinary matter, as opposed to a more symmetric combination of matter and antimatter?

Why is there a blatant imbalance in baryonic matter and antibaryonic matter, and how come none of our modern physics can account for this asymmetry? Why?

Because it's not a zero-sum game. You can fund NASA and also reduce homelessness.

If anything, cutting funds to NASA would mean a decrease in revenue since it has a high ROI.

If you want to deal with problems like homelessness, look to increase revenue, re-appropriate revenue from the military industrial complex, streamline the welfare system, or preferably all three

Is there actually a Big Bang Theory, or is it something that just exists in pop-culture, like a guess?

I've never actually seen an academic hypothesis-experiment-peer-reviewed Big Bang theory. Is it even real science?
