Meh. Tried the night club thing for a few years while I was in the Army. Never cared for it. Then again, I prefer to live a very private lifestyle, and the club thing is just too gawdy for me. Not to mention, it's a microscope on some of the worst qualities of people, all neatly (or not so) packed into some hot, sweaty room with some shitty hip hop remix, skrillex, or mainstream and safe rock music.

To be honest, most of the semi-tolerable girls I've met IRL were the result of stuff online, even vidya games. Of course, all women are psychopaths and are bigger pain in the ass in the long term than they are worth just for some pussy. I dunno, OP. I've just sort of gotten that shit out of my system and don't care anymore about chasing girls around. I never really got much out of sex (I mean, I guess it feels nice. Nothing to write home about, though.).

I think a lot of this crap is just society's way of making you pay for shit you don't want or need.

Hello /sci/, I took the SAT last year, and I scored in the 45th percentile...

I didn't care too much, until I applied for community college this year, and realize that I have to take a test because I didn't score above the 50th percentile.

I'm just a little confused on how I scored so poorly thinking about it now. I've taken honors math classes all throughout highschool, staying in the D-B range without doing homework/studying and what not. Yeah, that's not great... but the thing is that the kids who scored 60+ percentile would always come to me for help on math related shit. Even now in 12th grade, people ask for my help because I understand the math, but according to the SAT, I'm absolutely retarded.

I don't like doing math at all though, I hate it. It's boring, repetitive, and gives me a headache. Halfway through a lot of problems my brain shuts down and I just kinda say fuck it.

But my biggest problem is still the whole literally scoring below tard level on the SAT, but being able to keep up with honors/chs stuff easily. I most likely could have gone AP, if it didn't involve so much work, and if I didn't hate math so much.

So yeah, what I'm trying to ask here is how am I so bad at math, but was able to completely blow through highs school being considered someone who is good at math?

Hey /sci/, do you know what day of the week you were born on? If not, here's a simple formula you can try to figure it out.

a = 0 if year is 1900-1999, 6 if 2000 or after
b = last 2 digits of year
c = last 2 digits of year divided by 4, ignoring remainder
d = month code*
e = day of month

Then add a+b+c+d+e and take away 7 (or multiples of 7) until a number from 1-7 is left, which is the day of the week.

*month code: Jan=0 (or 6 if leap year), feb=3 (or 2 if leap year), march=3, april=6, may=1, jun=4, july=6,
aug=2, sep=5, oct=0, nov=3, dec=5

I came up with a good way to remember the month codes:
Take the phrase: "No man can forget a fast jaguar in prime. No man could outrun it." Each word represents a number, which is the number of letters in the word, except for "no" which equals zero. The last two words represent the month code for Jan and Feb in leap years.

How would you measure a volume of an irregular solid object with a density lesser than of water?

Would it be feasible to use the tides for electricity? If we decided to, ya know, fuck the fish that is.

Gif unrelated, but kinda funny (sfw)
