[ERROR]

When I was about 5 years old, my mum bought me two $2 books from a book sale at one of those multicultural marketplaces. One was called The Universe, the other was Children's Factfinder. Both were out of date, around 1985. I could barely read anything at the time so I just flipped through the pictures. Over that year as I learned how to read more and more, I started reading the descriptions of the amazing illustrations that were in it. I particularly remember seeing a two page wide painting of a frozen Earth, and being completely amazed at the idea that where I live might get roasted by the sun which made summer a fun time at the beach and then recede until Earth freezes and everything is dark. After that I just started reading more and more and I knew astronomy better than most 20 year olds at the age of 6.

Also, one time mum rented Titan A.E. for me when I was 6 because I thought it looked interesting, and that contributed heavily to my interest in space exploration and colonization.
