Nice, a thread about psychedelics on /sci/ that wasn't started by me.

I've streamed 'DMT: The Spirit Molecule' a few times over the past weekend and a handful of other times on /sci/ - I'll be happy to do it again if anybody here hasn't seen it and is interested.

Couldn't really think of a more appropriate board for this, so my apologies in advance. It's a long shot, anyway.

Any fellow Canadians know of a reliable supplier of quality powdered mimosa hostilis root bark? I've found a couple on my own but am hesitant to order from them without any testiomonies about the quality of their product.

What evolutionary advantage or purpose does the endogenous production of DMT serve?

Alternatively, why are our brains wired to receive these hallucinogenic/transcendent/spiritual experiences?

Read the book: DMT the spirit molecule by Dr. Rick Strassman. I smoked it tiwce and it was unbelievable.
