start at A, travel away to some point B faster than light, after that, switch reference frames by accelerating in some direction, now travel back to A and you will arrive before you left. this is because things that happen at the same time while you are at A, does not happen at the same time after you accelerated at B, normally it does not matter because the past and future cant mix in such a way as to send information back in time, but if you can sent information faster than light, this causes it to be sent back in time. pic not 100% accurate, but gives you an idea.

you start at "1"
you travel faster than light (outside the black light cone) to 2
you travel to 3 slower than light (or faster, watever.)
the light cone is now as shown
now you travel faster than light again to 4
