I'm planning more of a mobile, manned habitat with a bunch of life support and industrial modules powered by a Krusty rtg. Very different in most ways to your idea I suspect. It's unlikely to be practical until there's a Martian settlement. Probably it would be more sensible to begin with an autonomous rover and/or satellite capable of locating potential alluvial gold deposits but I'm not expecting to be able to kick this off within this decade.
