Hey /sci/, I need your help.

Math freshman here. I missed my Analysis 1 (not final) exam because I got my dates mixed up. There are 3 of those exams in the term, and it's the same lecture/mark as the assignments. I only noticed it the day after, after I heard classmates talking about it. I immediately wrote a mail to my prof saying I got my dates mixed up and asked if he could do another exam.

This was a week ago, I haven't got an answer since. Even worse is, the exam was on continuity and topolgy, and I did my assignments on those topics really half-assedly (I studied it well afterwards and know it pretty good though). Now the prof maybe even thinks I missed the exam intentionally. And it gets worse. I really put effort into this week's assigment, and I went to the wrong lecture to present it.

I want to do this exam really badly, if I don't it will cost me the mark and might even cost me the year. Which is a fucking joke, since I do really well in Analysis and really like it.

TL;DR: How do I ask my prof to do another exam considering he didn't answer the first mail a week ago? I don't want to beg, because beggars are shit.

Oh god, no, not this again. Schrödinger was an unrepentant REALIST. The entire point of the thought experiment was to illustrate that there was something fundamentally absurd about the Copenhagen interpretation.

Too bad convenience won out over common sense again.

Gödel's incompleteness theorem:

For any consisten formal system F purporting to settle -- that is, prove or disprove -- all statements of arithmetic, there exists an arithmetical proposition that can be neither proved nor disproved in this system. Therefore, the formal system is incomplete.

Discuss.
