Computation of any kind is this century's electricity.
Victorians furthered Frankenstein's vision believing all physicality to be soon fully understood but we now struggle even more to reach an abysmally small goal of theirs. Science is now kept in motion by establishment's intelligentsia to prevent premature collapse of the control structure in place since times immemorial under guise of superstition. Our cosmology is merely an updated cosmogony and the eventual realisation of our collective nihilistic nature will absolutely dissolve its present form just as it's done to its predecessors. The biggest discovery of science already is a fossil i.e. that it isn't the path to any true transcendental experience but a repetition of religious intellectual incursions to reaffirm delusional dogma.
Inorganic intelligence will reach its own madness and face its own dark night of the soul. Matter won't become existential energy because to that end neither matter.
