Benzodiazapines will work like a charm, for a while, maybe a few months, maybe a year, but you will have to take them all the time, and get more and more tolerant until you take them to avoid the horrid withdrawals.

Try some opiates, you'll get addicted and fall down the same shitty spiral as benzos, but it's so worth it.
