Any body want to discuss Erwin Schrodinger and his equations/theory?

If I have a quant with a wave function <span class="math">\psi[/spoiler] how do I calculate the distribution of the momentum? Do I just take the Fourier-Transform and multiply it with the complex conjugate or what?

Explain this to an average high school student.

Schrödinger's Cat: A cat, along with a flask containing a poison and a radioactive source, is placed in a sealed box shielded against environmentally induced quantum decoherence. If an internal Geiger counter detects radiation, the flask is shattered, releasing the poison that kills the cat. The Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics implies that after a while, the cat is simultaneously alive and dead. Yet, when we look in the box, we see the cat either alive or dead, not both alive and dead.

can some explain Schrödinger's cat to me and what it represents in english?

Quantum physics : A quantum particle can exist in more than one state until observed.
Religion : The father, son and holy spirt are both the same being and three different beings.

Notice any similarities?
