Anyone here know how to start mining for misc semi or very valuable minerals / metals? such as granite, aluminium, copper, silver, gold, gemstones & various other things

I need tips like How deep certain metals are, what kind of terrain they are in, something I could do to either have fun or make real money.

I live about 25 miles north of Houston Texas
