Is this a Valid Argument or Invalid Argument?

>If it rains during April, then there are flowers in May. It rains during April

>There are flowers in May.

Invalid because there can be flowers in may, even if it doesn't rain in april right?

Who or what do you defer to for philosophical and psychology guidance and supposition?

Your haphazard internet search impulses and whatever the most popular google result reassures you of, as long as it has some nice website design?

That is, your subconscious drive running off shitty television culture, and your friends, basically.

I tend to go for Wikipedia. I love it's anthropological bend. I also defer to the teachings of certain reputable MODERN people, like Chomsky and Dennet.

I'm still looking for some guidance from a person or source with expertise in theoretical physics. Most of them seem like retards who can't into hereustics, parsimony and noon-reductive multi-scale analysis.

Let's get a discussion going, eh? Anyone interested?
