how would you go about calculating the surface of a rotating fluid in a cylindrical container (frequency, density, volume given)?
bonus: 2 fluids (no friction, given frequency, density, volume each)
i know how to do it for 1 fluid. but my approach by minimizing the energy for the given values (and assuming a function for the surface of form y=ar^2+b [cylindrical coordinates]) is failing big time.
any ideas? will share my work so far.
