You have to seek it on your own!

It's like an arranged marriage...Just because your parents signed you up for an arranged marriage when you were born doesn't mean you know what marriage is like!

At least not until you yourself seek the girl out, get to know her, and finally marry her!

In the same way, just because your parents signed you up for a religion when you were born doesn't mean you know the Lord!

My parents were good Christians too, but I loved my sin for a long time. Satan had a huge foothold in my life, and I did nothing to stop it because I loved my sin.

It wasn't until God convicted my heart at the age of 18 that I finally realized how utterly rebellious I was and how desperately in need of a savior I truly was.

THAT is when my relationship with God truly started....Not at the Easter Sunday church service when I was 8 years old!
