Is there a way to make Wolfram solve a set of parametric equation for a point (an x and a y)? or a ti 84? or another resource?

See cause this fag nerd kid wants to throw this rainbow colored gay candy apple a to his buttbuddy on a spinning fucking ferris wheel, but hes really shitty (30mph throw) and can only throw one way, so I need to find the time to throw so the buttbuddy can catch it.

I only posted this to see whether is /sci/ capable of solving a practical question using their tools of calculus. It really is not my homework, friendo.

the idea that the anus will gape to a perfect circle is terribly flawed. it should be a rounded equilateral triangle.

this pythagorean theorum blew my mind the first time i saw it (i had never actually thought of why that formula was, but now that i've let it sink in, I think the first pic I posted is better)

Hello fellow /sci
How do you study math ?
I had a really weak base in HS in math and now am in college i'm taking Trigonometry, can you tell me tips/ how to study math for the "I don't get math" people ?

does /sci/ have a crash point? after so many hours you just stop being logical while doing work?

hey /sci/
since this board is full of pretty well learned people, maybe someone could answer something i've been wondering

i work at a grocery store, and about one month ago all our debit cards and ebts stopped working for a few hours. this had never happened before, and credit cards still worked fine

since then, it's happened every week at least once.
why would this happen? both debit and ebts require pins to be entered, but im not sure that'd do anything.

also, why would it continue to happen randomly after the first time? it's like something broke, but they will work 90% of the time.

internal server problem maybe?

alright /sci/

ever person with an interest in science has a moment that really hooked them. what's yours?

when i discovered the periodic table. i was so intrigued.

basic mechanics. electromagnetism - electrostatics, and mostly with time harmonic fields, waveguides, rigor in finding modes from bessel's functions and boring things of that nature. some wave phenomenon and solid state principles. fourier analysis also. but no formal course in complex variables. do i have a shot?
