You are right, IQ is determined by a mix of things, that's why it isn't a reliable way of measuring intelligence, and taking it seriously is dumb as fuck.
Most Research comes from developed countries because guess what? they have more money to pay for smart people from all over the world to do science stuff for them, not because their system is miles ahead of us.
