The problem here is that you cannot imagine 1 million doors. Humans do not comprehend how much a million is. We tend to think logarithmically when it comes to higher numbers. Up to 100 we do count, since this is what we repeated many times in school. But then it goes up in larger steps. Hundreds, thousands, millions, they appear to be equidistant to our mind even though they are not.

Starting today I will teach myself quantum field theory, totally on my own and without being a university student.

How long do you think I will need? Is 5 days realistic if I'm not a brainlet?
