>I am but an idiot who desires to learn science and math
The answer changes greatly considering where you are and where you want to go: each field of science has its mathematical needs, where pure math itself is quite different from the applied math you need for various sciences. A biologist might not need much math at all, a chemist a bit more, engineers mainly use calculus, and so on.
So what is your current level, and what is your area of interest?

No. It's a way to make a note of it. And you have infinitesimal non-numbers being equated to real numbers. Put it in the trash.

Help.
I'm on my final year for a bachelor's in chemistry with a certification from ACS.

I really like chemistry and went into it after HS but at around junior year i realized it would be hard to find good jobs and it would take so long to change majors that i was probably better off just finishing then going back for a grad degree

What types of jobs can i expect until i finish my masters in chemical engineering eventually? I've done research at school and i eventually want to work in the energy sector

I could use your guy's opinion on this. I currently attend the University of Texas as an engineer with in state tuition. Would it be worth transferring to Cornell to get that higher perception/connections but I would have to pay 50,000 instead of 5,000?
