They aren't all that different.

The low light kinda makes coloration unnecessary, so they aren't cute and colorful.

Were the pictured fish not so colorful, it'd be horrifying to many.

Oh yeah, also:
>Kids go to same private, boarding high school that I did.
>Kids spend the summers with myself and their "uncles" learning things like: organic chemistry, how to fly a plane(with eventual license), how to shoot, how to drink (once old enough), proper etiquette for any situation, how to scuba dive(with eventual certification), basic physics, beer brewing, microbiology, fungal identification, tactical driving, and other generally useless life skills.
>1 year abroad (just like I did) in high school with relatives in Germany. If not Germany, then their asses can go wherever they like, so long as I have friends with whom they can stay.

Miscellania:
>Somehow, I'd like to legally own a Komodo Dragon as a pet
>I want to buy back the ancestral lands in Scotland and be declared the Chieftan of the Clan.
>Go to space, even if only for a while.

Biotech and brewing/distilling
Those are two of my favorite things!

Wanna join my (future) business empire? The pay's good, the benefits unbeatable, and your boss is a crazy man with a "corporate retreat" of a vacation house in Mexico. He'll even fly you there himself.

C'mon, what's to lose?
