Math fags help me out. I have had bad experiences in the past taking more than 1 pure mathematics class at a time. Would taking Diff Eq, and Probability and statistics for engineers be suicide? They are no way the same.

I'm assuming we are talking about definite integrals on some subset of the reals [a,b]. My intuition tells me yes, it does. If f(x) = g(x), then it comes naturally. In the case where f(x) =/= g(x), imagine two functions whose area under the curve sums to some value S. Then at any point p the images f(p) and g(p) are both scaled by by 1/R(p).

Story 1:

Now I don't understand this, am I just too autistic? Obviously I have a very easy time telling how intelligent people I know are, but people I on spoken to a few times? Not so much.

How do people usually tell someone's intelligence when they don't know them very well and haven't got into a deep discussion with them?
