hey /sci/, I have a problem.

I have to do a research for my course of physiology (university). Here's the deal: I have to speak about a RECENT scientific discovery which concerns the animal or vegetable physiology (biology).

It has to be something that concerns, for example, the different systems of our body: cardiovascular, endocrine, nervous, digestive, urinary, etc. It can also refer to vegetable physiology: the types of photosynthesis, the growth of vegetables, etc.

Please help me guys?
