I always hear about these "prodigies" who have genius level intellects, and others who have made astounding cancer-curing discoveries at the age of 18. Yet I fail to notice their impact on society as a whole. More often than not, the modern world changes substantially by a hard-working individual entrepreneurs or inventors; not by these people.
