Technology, in my opinion, is the highest form of spirituality. We are combining the dreams of our mind with science, effectively creating our own reality.

By posting on the internet, you are trying to escape reality.
By playing video games, you are trying to escape reality.
By reading books, you are trying to escape reality.

Why does this matter to you so much? There is nothing wrong with improving your body. If you're fat, you work out or run. If you lose an arm, you get a prosthetic. Let's say getting a synthetic body would be better than our natural bodies. What's escapist about choosing the objectively better option?

Is anyone here interested in transhumanism? I for one would love to live forever as cyborg. We are much too fragile. Our technology has helped us survive for thousands of years; it's time to become one with our technology and take control of our evolution.
