Wear some hip sun glasses and call everyone "Daddio". Why do you care if you look cool or not? The only thing you should care about is understanding the material and being able to probably apply it.

No one else has pre-studied for the "practicals", I assume it is the same thing as labs. If it is a new course that everyone is taking the material SHOULD be NEW to everyone.

Read the provided practical materials and ask the professor or teaching assistant for help if you don't understand things.
