Here's thirty years and ten billion dollars humanity spent to find the Higgs boson. Don't forget that among the countless selfish, shortsighted masses are those precious few with vision. They are outnumbered, but they are unstoppable.

I'm writing an essay about how the news skews stories to make the reader get a certain perspective. The only thing that really interests me is science. I was thinking of doing the controversy over whether or not the hadron collider could be dangerous, but I don't know how well that will work. Any other ideas?
