I believe that people are more malleable than they think they I are. I got a job at a grocery store and I desperately need to 1984 myself into tolerating the radio music. It drives me insane, but I don't want to quit this job. How do I acclimate to something that is really annoying? I know for a fact that I am below average at ignoring distractions. I don't want to complain about music I hate, I just want to set my pride aside and suck it up, but usually about six hours into my shift I feel like I'm about to snap and totally exhausted. How do I stop this?
