23 year old High School freshman here. I had dropped out cause I had wanted to take modules and credit by exams so that I could graduate quicker than the standard route. The counselor wouldn't give me the time of day and would just flat out denied me. The ironic thing is if I had just stayed and done the coursework as it was prescribed I would have graduated by now and would have been halfway through a bachelor's in engineering. I have vowed to get back on the ball and in order to do that I have to get my high school diploma, starting with the freshman credits that I need. I need a high school diploma since I want to join the Marines so that I may have university tuition payed completely payed for and no student debt. On the subject of MIT, would previous military service in conjunction with being Hispanic and all good grades, be enough to get accepted?
