I'm just answering OP's question, I added a factor to the debate to illustrate by contradiction through example that OP's statement is unrealistic and oversimplified, all you have done is add another factor which further proves OP's statement is unrealistic and oversimplified.

If you want to discuss equitable distribution in depth go make a thread about equitable distribution. Stop being a politician and start being a logical consistent scientist like me, you will be proven wrong much quicker, then you can focus on something productive like finding away to increase corporate America's profits.

Just watched "The Corporation" and "The Collapse" on netflix. I would highly recommend both films.
However, I pretty much came to the conclusion that modern society is entirely non-sustainable, there is nothing science can do about it, and most of our advancements (like all of them) will go out the window when it happens. Any thoughts?
